Mr and Mrs Whitty made a life-changing move when they left their two-bedroom terrace in Calne for the comfort and simplicity of park home living — a decision shaped by the desire for a home better suited to their future.
After facing health challenges, including arthritis, they began searching for alternatives. Bungalows proved costly, but everything changed when Mrs Whitty discovered park homes on Rightmove.
“Stuart initially said, ‘I’m not living in a caravan,’ but the moment he walked into the showhome at Lillybrook, he turned to me and said, ‘I want one.’ Now we call it our park bungalow.”
What stood out immediately was the space and quality. High ceilings, smooth plastered walls, underfloor heating, and elegant finishes created a home that feels both modern and welcoming — even offering more space than their previous house.
The move itself was seamless. The SIPs construction, the home impressed them with premium features like stone worktops and carefully considered details. With guidance from the interior designer, they were able to personalise the space and truly make it their own.
