14 Home New Development – August 2022 update

Work on our latest phase (home No.134 – 147) has been progressing well over the past 6 months.

All sewer networks have been installed, all plots marked out and a rough road sub base laid.

The home sizes will be as follows: 6 homes at 42ft x 22ft. 6 homes at 44ft x 22ft. 2 homes at 46ft-50ft x 22ft. As with our last development, all homes will come equipped with a large garage and 2 parking bays on the plot.

The first home is scheduled to arrive in February 2023, with a further 5 to follow in 2023 at present.

We are now taking plot reservations for this new phase. Please call 01249 890250 for detailed information and to arrange a viewing.

12 Home New Development – June 2020 update

Work on our New Development has been progressing well over the past 6 months.

All 12 concrete bases for the homes have now been completed, alongside 11 of the garage bases.  The drive ways for all the homes have also been installed, with only the top layer of tarmac needed to finish them.

A substantial portion of the soil mountain in the top field has been used in the homes gardens.

We have made the decision to order homes for plots 126 (50ft x 22ft Prestige Sonata) & 129 (42ft x 22ft Prestige Sonata. These are estimated to arrive in December 2020 – January 2021. Both these homes are currently available to purchase.

With the fantastic weather over the last couple of months, the hedge around the Development boarder has really started to take shape. We have been delighted to see so many residents of both Lillybrook & Church Park taking advantage of the lovely green walk around the outside of the field. It has offered residents are safe space to walk during the lockdown.

Lillybrook Green Area Opening Soon!!!

Lillybrook are pleased to announce that we will soon be opening our green conservation area to all residents of both Lillybrook & Church Park.

As well as opening this area, we will also be re-opening the walkway around our field. It has been closed for roughly a year now due to work on our New 12 Home Development.

Our conservation area features a lookout point, where residents can sit and take in the views.

In keeping with our efforts towards the local wildlife, we have recently had a Beehive installed in the corner of our conservation area.

Lillybrook contribution to local Village Hall

Lillybrook Estate Ltd support various local community  projects. For eight years we supported the St Marys Church Window Fund, with last of the windows being refurbished last year. We raised around £12,000 over the eight years, which was a very significant contribution towards the total cost.

Since the completion of the Church Windows refurbishment we now support Bradenstoke Village Hall, and have received the very pleasant following letter:

When we think about village halls, we imagine all kinds of scenarios. There is one common thread that affects almost all village halls, how do we find funds for the upkeep? Who will run the hall and what activities can be provided?

Bradenstoke Village Hall is fortunate because the inside has been updated and modernised so as to provide a warm, welcoming and comfortable venue.

All the work that has been carried out has cost a lot of money which has been raised in many ways. Lillybrook Estates have been very generous in this matter. Money raised from selling scrap metal has been donated to the Village Hall, so far this year, the magnificent sum of £1,277.39 has been raised. Philip and Lawrence are donating this money in support of the Hall for the benefit of Bradenstoke and Lyneham residents.

Lillybrook Estates have also helped in many other ways from providing metal fencing to labour and tools to dig a trench at the rear of the hall in order to repair a serious water leak which caused flooding in the kitchen.

It is no exaggeration to say that by their generosity the hall and the residents of Bradenstoke and Lyneham have been helped to keep this facility functioning.

Philip and Lawrence help out in so many ways and if there is a problem, invariably they will be the first to be contacted and if they cannot help, they know a person who can.

It is fair to say that Lillybrook Estates are generous, always ready to help and on behalf of the Village Hall Committee we would like to say a big thank you.

Lillybrook Open Day

In association with Quickmove Properties, Lillybrook will be hosting an Open Day on Saturday 20th October from 10am -4pm.

There will be two New Park Homes available to view, where we hope to be able to give all attendees a glimpse at what Park Home living is all about.

The two Homes in question will be:

  • Prestige Sonata 42ft x 20ft located at No.38 Lillybrook
  •  Homeseeker Sofia 44ft x 20ft located at No.52 Lillybrook

Both Homes showcase perfectly what to expect if you decide to purchase a home on Lillybrook or Church Park.

Members of the Lillybrook team, along with a representative from Prestige Park Home Manufacturers and from Quickmove Properties will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

We will also be showcasing the plans for our new 12 Home development, with the first homes expected to arrive next summer.

We hope to see you there.

Lillybrook make improvements to public footpath

Lillybrook have recently made improvements to the public footpath which runs along the top of the park overlooking Dauntsey Vale.

We used much of our excess soil stock to fill a large subsidence area of the footpath, making it much more level and considerably wider through that particular area.

The grass seed we planted has now grown through and has integrated itself seamlessly with the rest of the footpath.

Lillybrook provide new fence for Bradenstoke Village Hall

Following seven years with Lillybrook being the major sponsor of St Marys Church Window Fund, the refurbishment of the windows is now complete. They can now be opened for the first time since the Second World War.

As part of our efforts to support the local community Lillybrook are now going to offer some support to Bradenstoke Village Hall.

We were asked to design, fabricate and supply a fence along the Village Hall boundary wall, which was completed last week, and we were delighted to receive a thank you card from the Village Hall Committee.

In the past when we had scrap metal to take for recycling, resultant money was paid to St Marys Church Window Fund. We have now asked the Recycling Company that in future for any scrap metal we take to them they make payment to Bradenstoke Village Hall instead.

Lillybrook Sponsor Inaugural Bradenstoke Garden Show

We were delighted to receive the following letter of thanks from Sally Macpherson (Chair of the Garden Show Committee):

“Dear Mr Burchell,

The Bradenstoke Garden Show – 9th Sept. 2017

On behalf of the 1st Annual Bradenstoke Garden Show, and of the Organising Committee, we wish to register our sincere thanks to the Lillybrook Estate for their magnificent donation towards our show – Printing costs, and for the purchase of our Best In Show Cup (which will be decorated with champion ribbons)

Yours has been the first and most generous of all our village donations.

Everybody’s kindness has made this show possible.

On behalf of your committee, we thank you.

Sally Macpherson (Chairman)”

Over the decades Lillybrook Estate Ltd have always supported local community events and where possible and plan to continue to do so.

BH&HPA 2017 Conference

Philip attended the BH&HPA Annual Conference held in January 2017 at the Birmingham Metropole. There were a variety of useful seminars and presentations, which we feel will improve the operation of our Parks.

The attached photograph is of Philip being congratulated by David Bellamy for Lillybrook retaining the David Bellamy Conservation Award – Gold.

We are delighted to continue to hold the gold award for a further year, and are always striving to improve our environmental credentials.

Britain In Bloom

This is the second year that the Parish Council has entered Lyneham & Bradenstoke into Britain in Bloom and this time the village was reviewed in sections. This is the first year in which Lillybrook has been judged as its own section. We are delighted to say that both Lyneham and Bradenstoke recieved a silver award for the combined entry of both villages.

Lillybrook was honoured with an additional award for our eco homes and developments in eco-friendly fields. We feel that this award justifies our  efforts towards a greener Britain.
